I plan to install the platform on a virtual server. I know that I will need a server with Windows Server 2012R2 Datacenter (64-bit).
But I need your advice on what system requirements are in such configurations for the Sierra Chart platform. Need to rent a virtual or dedicated server? What is the required frequency of the processor and memory, how many minimum processor cores? Trading will take place in autotrading. Using 150 lines of Spreadsheet. Using study price overlay, In the future it is also possible that the same Chartbook will be 3-4 more for other tickers. Please recommend Hosting for a server that will give minimal latency. My broker AMP, traded instruments exchange CME

I am running 1 virtual core 3.5Ghz and 4GB RAM and this is far enough to run SC. You will be able to run multiple copies at the same time

SC is one of the best HW optimized platforms I have ever used

Having 3 rangebar charts with own custom studies continuously open with decent history and live update SC takes about 50 MB RAM :-D

Comparing to InteractiveBroker Traders Workstation which has few tickers added into a 'quote board' takes almost 1 GB :-DD

Thank you Tomas, you helped me a lot with advice. So you use VDS? And its enough, it is much more economical. With reliable hosting, closer to CME advise?

This is hard for us to answer, but we do have this section here:
Software Download: Requirements

Our opinion is though is that you should use a dedicated server but if a VPS works fine that is ok.
