SC all fine on 2036. Upgraded to 2040 and now keep getting "caught unhandled error" message on second instance screen when I access Studies Menu on a chart - which then freezes and crashes second instance. Main instance still fine. Have re-booted PC, have rolled back to 2036 but still getting frozen out every time I now access studies menu on a chart in second instance. Have updated windows. Any ideas?

I have used Safe Mode and problem solved. However I don't use any custom / DLL files - so the only 2 files I moved out of Data folder (for Safe Mode) and into a backup folder are the standard SC download files called UserContributedStudies.dll and UserContributedStudies_64.dll. Do I just leave these in the backup folder now?

It might just be coincidental that using Safe Mode solved the problem. We are not aware of any issues with the user contributed studies. Yes just keep them in the backup folder now.
