w/r to : Allowed Systems:  1 out of a total of 2 system(s) is currently being used.

Can you please clarify?

1) 2 systems allowed means... I can run 2 Sierra Chart instances on same computer?; I can install and run 2 Sierra Charts on 2 different computers? Something else?
2) If running 2 SierraCharts, either on same or on different computers, 2 systems also means I'll get market data to the two systems from the 1 Data Feed subscription I got?
3) Could I have SC installed on 3/4 computers and sign in on any two at any one time?

Thanks

Your questions are perfect. I have the same problem (after x years of using Sierrachart) that I don't understand the explanation in the documentation - it's not quite clear.

I want to run Sierra on my PC here in Australia, and want to have anothercopy running on a VPS in Chicago, both connected to IB trading service.

Could you please confirm if my understanding is correct?

- I can have two running copies as I describe above, no extra fees
- I could use DTC server for Data sharing, at no extra cost.

Or do I need to subsribe to a new data stream, or incurr extra costs?
Thanks

In regards to Post #4:
Each system would count as a Sierra Chart system, therefore you would be using your 2 system limitation. Refer to:
Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Licensing / Number of Systems

Yes data sharing is possible but may not be the most efficient way depending upon the configuration.

Refer to the information here for setting up the DTC Server connection:
Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance

So you may want to activate a second real-time connection with the data feed instead. Refer to:
Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed: Connections

W/r to the connections, can you please clarify as to whether a second data fee (to run on second SC system) is an extra charge, or the one data fee I'm subscribed to can be connected to two systems at no extra cost?

the link you sent says that 3 connections are possible, and each additional connection incurs extra costs... but does this mean each additional connection above the three possible, or each additional connection above my allowance, with a limit of up top 3 possible? .... not clear... thanks for clarifying
