Hello!

I have trade account with tradefutures4less (subsidiary of Stage 5) and my FCM is Dorman.

Currently I'm paying $10 monthly for CQG market data feed and $25 for market data ($7 CME, $7 CBOT and $11 S&P indices) - $35 in total.

I'm considering switching to Sierra Chart market data but I would like to stay in the same price range.

Right now, SC is offering real-time data (Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed) for 20 symbols for $25 monthly, and CME, CBOT and S&P indices data for $5.25 each, or $40,75 total.

I know it's not a big difference but the number of symbols is limited with SC and it's more expensive. Could you consider matching CQG prices or offering S&P indices with Denali Exchange Data Feed?

Thanks

Yes we are working on this but it will not be for a while.

Thanks! Do you have any timeline for that?

One more thing. As of recently, SC package 5 is required to use CQG market data and trading service.

If I switch to SC chart order routing service with data, can you confirm my trading costs will stay the same?

Currently, I'm paying $ 3.58 roundtrip commissions pers contract for ES ($2.36 exchange fees, $0.04 NFA, $0.98 broker commission and $0.20 CQG execution fee). No additional expenses.

Is it possible to bill these costs direcly to SC? As I said above, my broker is Stage 5 and I clear through Dorman.

The timeline we would expect would be sometime this year but probably not likely until the third quarter assuming we are successful, which is an unknown.

Those transaction costs will remain the same. You can pay the .20 order routing fee either through your trading account with Dorman which is an upcoming feature we expect to have ready in April, or directly to Sierra Chart.

The other fees must go through your brokerage account.

Hello!

My yearly SC chart subscription is going to expire soon and I'm considering my options for renewal.

During the last year the requirements for using CQG data/ trading service were changed and now it is required to subscribe to SC package 5. Not other data/ trading service requires package 5. Presumably this was done in order to entice users to move to Denali data/ trading service.

Under the current pricing structure there is no incentive for me to move to Denali because it is still more expensive than what I'm currently paying at CQG, even if I activate package 5.

The market data fee for CQG is $10 monthly, and for Denali is $20-$25 monthly depending if I use TT or not.

So, there are more reasons for me to stay with CQG for another year than to switch to Denali.

It's not a big deal but maybe you could reconsider your current pricing structure to make it more competitive if you would like the users to switch from CQG.

Thanks

The true cost of CQG is actually 50 USD a month (10+15+25) when you include historical data and web-based trading. And CQG only provides current contracts only. Not Expired contracts. We have been providing historical data all of this time.

So we have been subsidizing CQG all of this time! No reason for us to come down in price. Nevertheless, we are not enforcing the requirement to use package 5 with CQG. Package 3 can be used but that can change.

Not other data/ trading service requires package 5.
Not true. Interactive brokers and Rithmic now require package 5 for proper historical data support.

And we provide 1400 levels of market depth with the Sierra Chart provided data feeds compared to 10 levels on CQG with the Sierra Chart provided data feeds. And when we start offering EUREX as well, we will be able to provide a lot more than 15 levels of depth.

And if you are trading a lot, we can do a little better than the per .10 contract fee.

And even more importantly! You get proper safe server-side bracket orders. That is of major value!! So as you can see the Sierra Chart order routing service and the Denali feed are well beyond that of CQG.

I understand your position. I'm not saying there is no value behind your offering, just that I will be paying more.

I'm sure some users may find more DOM levels useful but I'm happy with standard 10 levels. The same is with bracket orders. I don't use them but I'm sure many are.

Also, I'm not using much historical data and could easily switch to external service for that. I understand all these features (like additional DOM levels and server side bracket orders) don't come free, but they are just not useful to me at the moment.

Thanks anyway
