Hello,

I appreciate your Global Proft/Loss Management functionality. I am looking for a way to lock my trading for a couple of minutes after each trade regardless win or loss trade. Could you imagine a way implementing that? Would there be a way to code that?

Thanks in advance.

You would have to use ACSIL and use this function:
sc.SetTradingLockState()

If you could just lock trades from one ticker and one chart, I can create it. "couple of minutes" .... time should be user selectable, right?

Ackin, highly appreciating that. I do have coding experience, but not yet in Sierra ACSIL...

One ticker / one Chart would be perfect. User selectible time-out would be ideal. regarding myself, I would set it to 5 minutes, because I found that after 5 minutes resting time, I am much more balanced in order to decide rationally.

Not sure if that works, but I would prefer a solution were it is not easily possible re-activate trading during a time-out by a one click procedure (Trade >> Trading Locked). May be it is possible to ensure that there is really no trading?

thanks in Advance!

ok, We have a study long ago that blocks trading at a certain time ... it's similar to what you want. I'll make adjustments and create a new study for it. This evening or tomorrow morning it will be possible to download in our forum ...

I have one of these. If there is sufficient demand from the community I'd consider licencing it.

Safru)

I need more information about it. What you want is a very specific thing. I wouldn't want to create anything for just one person. Just log in to our forum and write about the request more .... I had a short break for the disease, but I'm already working.

I like it when things are finished. Let's do it. ;)

Ackin,

I signed up on your site, but can't find the study that you referred to.

Do you have a copy of the original study that you made? I think it would work for what I need.

I want access to trading in Sierra charts from the open at 9:30-9:45 EST. After that, I want trading to automatically lock until the next day.

Of course I have a study that I wrote above.

Write me an email or question in our forum, here it is off topic.
