Corrupt Spreadsheet files

Over the weekend my spreadsheets seem to have gotten corrupted. When I went to the Backup folder for the files from last week they seem to be corrupted as well.

All of the formulas I entered are missing.

Any hope I can find non corrupt backups?

I was able to get the files back from a friend i had shared them with

IN the Spreadsheet dialogue box the spreadsheet name had been changed from Number to Name, not sure if that is part of the issue or not.

All of the formulas I entered are missing.
It might be related to this setting:

The solution in this case is to correct the Spreadsheet Study settings, save the Chartbook, Close the Chartbook, close the Spreadsheet without saving it, restore a backup of the spreadsheet. Then reopen the Chartbook.
