To reproduce:
- Add Heiken Ashi study
- Display as main price graph
- Make chart Scale Range: Constant Range

Scale settings: Constant Range, Manual Mode, Re-Center on Chart Scroll not selected.

Try to dragging the price up or down off the screen using the hand tool and it will snap back.

I'm trying to look at previous price action and the chart keeps snapping back to a different position.

Yes we do see that but there must be a reason why that behavior exists. We are not sure of the reason though.

Is that something you can look into in case it's a bug in the study?

It doesn't seem to be desirable. There are times when I cannot even get to the current price action.
As soon as you remove the Heiken Ashi study, the normal (Japanese) candles and chart movement behaves as you'd expect.
I just can't imagine that just because you add Heiken Ashi candles you'd want chart movement to be any different.

Yes it is something we can look at, but is just that we have so many other things right now that it will not be a while until we can get to it. And we just wonder if it is deliberate. Most likely it is for some reason.

When do you think you'll have the opportunity to look into this?

We have had a chance to look at it, and we do see what you are seeing, but we have not had a chance to dig deeper and fix it yet. We just have been busy with lots of things.

Hello, I just wanted to check back in on this before the post expires. Is there a possibility you can plan for the fix on an upcoming release?
I'd really like to be able to use a constant range for the chart scale with Heiken Ashi.
