I have possibly an unusual requirement. I need to be able to overlay a study from a larger timeframe (say, 15min chart with a 10 period SMA), onto my Renko chart. But I have to do so *without* using the study overlay from a different chart. I can have only a single chart in my chartbook.

Is there any way to do this?

Why just one chart? ... backtest?

It isn't possible with default components and studies in the SCH.

The closest solution is this:
Moving Average - Time Period

Yep, backtests using Sierra Chart Back Tester, which can only automate on single-chart backtests.

However, Moving Average Time Period sounds like EXACTLY what I need! Can't believe I didn't see it. Thank you!
