Question on Crossfromabove/below

I had been expecting crossfrombelow (for example, opposite for fromabove) to trigger if the candle opens above the trigger level, has a low that is below, and then closes above. This looks not to be the case and I just want to verify.

Does crossfrombelow require the candle *open* below the trigger level and close above? And the reverse for crossfromabove?

Is there any way to make it register if the low/high crosses first instead? Or would that just need to use a custom formula?

You just need to change the formula.

C = Last / Close

H = High
L = Low

But maybe you may want to activate in the end alert on bar close, otherwise you may get several signals per bar.

Yes I ultimately just made my own formula. Was just curious if there was any optional way to adjust the behavior of the CROSSFROM functions.
