We do not think Sierra Chart will be able to run on ARM. We definitely do not recommend this. It is made for X64 processors:

There is the Surface Pro and the Surface Pro X. The Surface Pro is Intel x64 based. I suggest getting the one with the i7 chip. This will work fine for Sierra Chart.

The Surface Pro X is ARM-based. Unless there is some really good reason to go with the ARM processor, you are going to have compatibility issues. Windows Store Apps are the only ones you will be able to run on it. Not Sierra Chart nor a billion other apps that were written for the Intel CPU architecture.
