DOM Automatic Sizing problem

I just setup a DOM with bitcoin and have turned of automatic sizing for each column. It won't let me untick automatic sizing for price and this is a problem. I've used the custom tick size to increase the tick size for bitcoin but then whenever a trade flashes it briefly shows the original price format and this causes some resizing of (I assume) the price column. It gives the DOM a weird 'breathing' look like it's constantly shifting and resizing...

Anyway to have this fixed with a band-aid solution like allowing the price column to be fixed?

The price column width cannot be changed. It is automatically managed but when a chart or Trading DOM is updating it is not going to change its size other than get bigger as necessary. It should not become smaller. Are you noticing that?

Make sure you are running the current version of Sierra Chart.

OK, I figured out what's causing it. It's the price column when you set a custom tick increment. Take XBTUSD-BMEX as an example: it's quoted in 0.5 tick increments, but if you use the Sierra feature to consolidate that into $1 increments as soon as the product ticks up or down on the DOM, the 0.5 will be quoted in the price column so it is constantly resizing as the product ticks/moves, thus giving it that confusing "breathing in and out" feel.

Is there any easy solution for this other than sticking to a price display format auto-set by the data feed?

Ok, for anyone interested I just now found a solution to this also. Simply set the tick size you need and then set the "price display format" to something compatible, e.g., $1 increments if that's what you're using for tick size.

Running the current version with Open GL and the price box of the DOM still does autosizing and giving the DOM and un-constant feel. This gets worse when I use a bigger or fat font. As there is no option to autosize the price box I tried a lot of fonts but could not get rid of it. Any idea how to fix this? Tick size is set correctly. Tried manually and from data feed.

We think we have discovered the reason for this problem. It is not something that we would have thought would have normally occurred. It should be solved in the next release.

It probably only occurs when using OpenGL.

Thank you! Yeah that's right - it appears in Open GL
