Hello, I tried to find an answer to this problem on the support board but could not. I downloaded and updated my SC version (to 2011) from an older version yesterday so I can switch to the Denali feed but since I have done that I cannot display/see/access any of my previous trades on my account. How can I get these restored as I find the stats etc. with the trade activity log to be very useful and I use it a lot? Thanks in advance.

Provide a screenshot of the top of the Trade Activity Log. There is little doubt, the settings there are not correct. And you also need to press the Apply button after changing the settings.

Thinking about this some more, we recognize what the problem is, if you have come from a significantly older version, then the trading activity was not imported into the new format.

You would have to go back to approximately version 2000. Run it and then go to the current version. That should work.

ok - can you direct me to the relevant documentation I would need to look at to revert back to an older version? I have never done that before..

I found the documentation to roll back to an earlier version and tried several earlier versions - 2000, 1960 and 1950 but this did not solve the problem. What other options are there to fix this issue?

I rolled back to version 1881 and could see my old trades but when I try to upgrade to a newer version I lose them again. How can I update my version and keep all the trade history?I received a telephone call from a SC representative (Ray) and he encouraged me to switch to the Denali feed but need to have a much newer version to do that...

As we think about this, there is a little more of a procedure. We will write this up little later this evening. This is the first time we have had to give this out.

The procedure is as follows:

-Install version 2007 or earlier of Sierra Chart. Instructions:
Software Download: Software Rollback Procedure

-After the update exit from Sierra Chart if it is running.
-Go to the Sierra Chart installation folder which is usually C:\SierraChart.
-Delete the TradeActivityLogs folder. Just put this in your recycle bin so it can be restored if needed.
-Run Sierra Chart.
-After this you can update to the very latest version if you want.

Unfortunately this has not solved the problem - after following the steps above, not only do my previous trades not show up in the trade activity log of the upgraded version but my IB account does not appear in the accounts drop down window.
