I have no less than 4-5 times built really,really clean signals in various chartbooks. I have performed a few hundred back test very successfully and have became expert with coding simple "color bar based on alert condition." All my test results have been poor due to unacceptable number of bad trades, due to dirty signals! Definition of dirty signals = gives a late signal at end of trend which places you in an upside down trade. Definition of clean signal = gives early signals which always place good trades, before trend is old & about to turn to opposite direction. Interestingly the cleanest of these signals (arrows on charts), the ones which will not, visually have no late in trend bad signals repeatedly give me an error message? (this is happening repeatedly! Many times! ((("Trading is not allowed. Reason:Formula state has not changed" +date/time.))) I have searched this above string and no info is pulled up? Please explain this error string! Im not asking for help with building and testing! Im very solid on platform! I am specifically interested in why my really clean work seems to always be busted, broken or in general will not test! I have done this enough over a few months it is a pattern! It is not something I am doing? please advise why this is happening! Thank you! |
