This LOCKED thread refers:

Sierra Chart Does Not Recommend CQG (Various Reasons)

All Users who this is relevant for will have read this as it was/is a Sticky post of yours.

But what I just noticed yesterday in passing while I was searching the meaning of an SC/CQG error message was this paragraph you have inserted in the SC standard documentation but to my knowledge you have not pointed out in a Support Board sticky:

CQG Trading Platform Service

The concerning paragraph is dated 22/10/2019 and says that from 1 December a User MUST subscribe to package 5 to continue to use the CQG data feed.

Why is this being imposed? How does it affect those of us who have our SC subscription provided to us via the AMP arrangement? I have heard nothing from AMP about this 'forced' upgrade of package - are they even aware of this?

All I was aware of is the fact that CQG Fix will be disabled from January 2020 (see version release notes for v2000) and that Users will need to use CQG Web API, but nothing about minimum package requirements.

I don't want to continue using the CQG WEBAPI feed.
Question for SC Support: may I switch to a standard TT FIX connection without having to take the new Sierra order routing service? I want to minimise changes to my environment and the burden on my FCM to change configuration settings. TT FIX would be fine unless there is an explicit reason not to use it. On package 3 I believe I receive historical market data through the SC servers anyway.
