Displaying trades placed manually through IB TWS

I am an Interactive Brokers client and trying to use Sierra Chart with TWS (Trader Workstation). I noticed that orders placed manually through TWS are not displayed in Sierra Chart when you have the setting Trade >> Show Order Fills enabled, only orders placed through Sierra Chart show up. It would be nice to have this because TWS has a variety of rich, special order types such as Relative/Pegged-to-Primary and also Algorithmic order types e.g. VWAP which are not available to place through Sierra Chart. I think this is feasible based on the fact that according to TWS API documentation the client ID 0 receives order status even for orders placed manually: https://interactivebrokers.github.io/tws-api/order_submission.html#order_status (Search Ctrl+F for "manually") |

Got it working, thanks. For future reference to other users: You must type in e.g. 'AAPL-STK-SMART' instead of just 'AAPL' in order to get data from TWS to show up in Sierra Chart. You can still trade and receive IB price data in Sierra Chart if you use just 'AAPL' but you will not be able to see orders placed from TWS and order fills from orders placed through TWS. |
