i shouldnt be affected by this.. yet i am.. so it might've something to do that i switched to the denali feed? if so, pls. remove the limit as i am using the "SC data feed", am i not?

thanks,
Andreas

We are very close, hopefully in a week or two with removing this limit and adding a feature to pay for additional historical daily data downloads.

Also you have to consider, with Continuous Futures Contracts there are individual downloads for each contract month.

SC, thanks for being on top of it on a sunday.

i dont get it, you state that as a user of your data feed i am not affected but thats obviously not 100% true, correct?

as a denali feed customer i am affected by the limitations?

what can i do today to download the futures i am missing? (ZN, ZO, ZR, ZS, ZT, ZW, AC)

thanks,
Andreas

downloading that "much" history is obviously a one time thing to me but waiting until tomorrow would be a pain as i wanted to analyze them today, given that i am pretty tied up over the week.

Yes. The Denali feed is not part of Barchart and we do have to pay for each of these historical daily data queries.

We are going to put out a new release today which will remove the limit for the time being, and then there would be a standard limit that all users get within a month and then you can pay for more historical daily data queries which can then be used over any span of time.

appreciate the unbureaucratic help here, guys.. thats awesome!

re your "payment options" for the historical data.. i saw that it is actually limited to 20 years worth of data.. will those options include a possibility to load further history?

thanks,
Andreas

We will have the new release out in about 30 minutes. Really there is more than 20 years of daily history available in many cases. It just depends upon what Barchart has available . Their history does go back to about 1970 for commodities.

interesting.. i see messages like

ZM-201912-ECBOT [CB][M] Monthly #4 | Limiting the number of years to download historical data for to 20 years for the continuous futures chart. Reason: Account limitation. | 2019-10-13 09:11:00.399

in the message log? to me this suggests there's an artificial limit set on the amount of data i could download

thanks a lot for the new release! appreciate that big time

Ok that limitation can be removed. We will be working on that over the next week.
