Hello!

Could you please add a feature to the trade activity window to display scratch trades, besides winning and losing trades. Scratch trades would be all those trades where you bought and sold for the same price. This would be useful feature for scalpers.

Currently, when using commissions in calculation, all scratch trades are regarded as losing trades, but they are not in the true sence of the word.

Thanks

Very reasonable!
SC consider scratch trades as losses, which is incorrect

You pay commissions on scratch trades in a LIVE market, so how is that revenue neutral?

Commissions are not loser trades. We pay them in any case.
-1 tick is a loser trade.
We are talking about pure scalping, where managing positions could be different from any kind of trading approaches.

Sounds like you're "jobbing around a core position" then.

Are you also using LIFO, or perhaps the Theoretical Position Average Price to manage your trades instead of the regular FIFO?

A big part of profitability for a scalper comes from replacing losing trades with scratch trades. What most people consider scalping is not actually pure scalping.

Any follow up on this?

You can do the following. Enable commissions in global symbol settings and in trade activity window.

Than check your trade statistics with "use commission" enabled and "use commission" disabled. Subtract winning trades without commission from winning trades with commission. The result is scratch trades

How hard is it for sc tech to filter trades closed at entry price as BE?
It makes the whole pack more interesting for scalpers as they now avoid SC for reasons such as these.
