[Locked] - Range Per Bar - Gap Fill options do not chart as descibed

When using "Range Bar - Open=Close(in ticks)" or "Range Bar - New Bar on Range Met & Open=Close(in ticks)" the "Gap Fill-None" & "Gap Fill-Fill Bar Gaps except Start of Day" options do not chart as described. The other Range Bar selections chart as intended. Currently using SC1941. |

Just verified the same thing as you posted above on the current Prerelease, v1993 64-bit (build 28634M). Hopefully SC can advise accordingly. |

We are declining support for this .It is not something we are going to spend time on, and there are no problems here. That particular range style, is going to fill the gap between the bars in order to get the open and close to match. We simply are not going to spend further time discussing this. At all. Just use what is there or don't use it. This is nothing more than a total waste of our time. These range bars are stupid to begin with. They are just plain stupid. Why are you using them? Do not answer this question here. We have never seen so much stupidity surrounding a particular bar type than range bars. And we are not making apologies here. Do you understand our position . When we are asked to do something stupid like these stupid range bars, and then we get more questions about the stupid design to begin with, we are not going to waste our valuable time on this garbage. And once again we make no apologies! None whatsoever. These bars are stupid. Why in God's name would what someone want the open and close to match and totally faking prices. This is stupidity to the maximum. And we are not here to answer questions on demand, we should be declining more support than we actually do. We waste too much damn time on support especially CME market data questions. Too much too much damn damn damn damn damn damn damn time on CME market data questions. And no we make no apologies and we are speaking far too kindly here. Far far far too kindly. And you also have to realize, when we get bothered too much about something in Sierra Chart, that is something that is questionable to begin with as far as whether it should even exist in the program, or is something that just cannot be well implemented and generates questions, we may justly pull the functionality.
