Compact Watch List Toolbar, wrong symbol loading

v1983, SC Denali feed, using compact watch list in toolbar, clicking symbol QMV19, only loads far out contract month QMX21, which shows no data.

Even manually typing in the symbol QMV19 in watchlist or on chart automatically loads QMX21.

How can remove these far out contract months from compact watch list toolbar? Don't need this function/only gets in way. Currently cannot even load the symbol I need, QMV19.

We do not have any other reports of a problem with the drop down symbol list on a control bar. So you are saying you are literally clicking one specific symbol and the chart is changing to a different symbol in the list?

Yes. It's a symbol 2 years further out than the one I want.

It's somehow related to a problem with watch lists I think. I can open a new chart for that symbol, but not within the chart I want to.

I still can't fix it in the chart I want to view QMV19 in. Even after deleting all symbols from the watch list. How can I fix this?

And I don't want this symbol in the list or any future out months in the list. How can I remove them from the compact toolbar list?

I attempted to post a reply to this, but it's not showing here anymore?

This problem was solved when switching away from the paid SC Denali feed back to CQG.

I want to go back to SC's paid Denali feed. Can this be looked into/fixed?

How can I fix this if going back to paid Denali feed?

We are not really understanding this. And you cannot remove the symbols listed in the drop-down symbol list on a control bar which are the same symbol as the underlying chart.

And it does not matter what data feed you are using. At most this would be specific to particular trading service. Provide screenshots showing what you mean. Because we just don't understand this.

I have switched to Denali/SC-TT Routing. The QM loads correctly now.

The symbols in the compact watchlist drop that are actually a part of my watchlist/viewed as a chart are fine. I want to get rid of the symbols in the far out future months that I do not use. How can I do that?

That is controlled by the Forward Months setting in the Global Symbol Settings for the symbol:

Current version SC 2007, Denali Feed/SC Routing, forward months are set to 0 in Global Symbol Settings.

The compact watch list is still loading the forward months.

It will default to about 4 months, if it is 0. You may want to set it to 1.

Does not seem to be working correctly, compact watch list is showing 12 months with global symbol setting set to 0. I want it to show 0, same as the regular watch list does, how can this be fixed?

We will make sure the drop-down list for the Watch List does follow the Forward Months exactly. It does follow it but it is possible it does use a minimum of 12 months.

This problem in original post came back on v2086 using SC/TT/Denali, with either compact watch list or associated watch list, Clicking HOK20 loaded HOM20.

Only going to chart settings and type in HOK20 loaded HOK20.

This may have been related to Chart Setting Automatically Rollover Futures Symbol.

Turning this off seemed to fix it. Note, it seems to be rolling HOK20 to HOM20 too early right now.

Regarding the Forward Months in Watch Lists, is it possible to set how many forward months to load can be configured independently by chart, and not symbol?

I would like to use different settings for this in different charts/watch lists, vs intraday vs historical charts.

Or (less ideal) is it possible to configure this independently by sub instance, and not have this setting for each symbol be overwritten when other config files are synced/copied over?
