There's the problem and I cant find a work around, the only thing I can think of is for future versions to add.

I use PRE-Open (RTH) Highs and Lows on "Cumulative Delta Bars/Up-Dwn Tic Vol" study. I cant use the "Daily OHLC" study bc it will only do ALL or Day Session. So I have to use the "Hi/Low for Time Period" Study, and set the times for overnight up to the OPEN (RTH).

The problem with this is wont show the PRE-OPEN Hi/Low (verified by zeros for the amount in the Chart Values Window).
This causes a problem bc on my "Colored Bar Based on Alert" study, it wont work bc there's no value. (? extension lines to the Hi/Low for Period study with values shown in CVW?)
So on my 1 min and 30 sec charts. the work around is to put a "Horizontal Line in Time" study and set it for the last bar before the Open (RTH) and extend it through the day. That works for those charts.
The problem is it wont work for a Volume chart I have, because the time for the bars always changes day to day bc they are dependent on the volume. So I cant get any values for the Pre Open (RTH) High or Low for my Color Bar on Alert study to pick up on because the value is zero.

Can you think of a work around short of a future version adding either "closest time" to the "Horizontal Line at Time", or Extension lines that produce a value in the "Chart Value Window" that will render the Color Bar on Alert usable? THx
