I've never been able to really nail down how spreadsheets work in terms of saving them, opening them, applying them, different sheets, changing reference chart, and more. Just a note there in hopes that some better functionality and/or documentation might come out. Perhaps I've been missing something - for years.

My question today is this:

I have an existing spreadsheet with a ton of formulas and such, which gives me visual signals on the chart. I have the spreadsheet saved.

I have another chart (Chart 2, we'll call it), in another chartbook, anywhere - doesn't matter. I want to apply the spreadsheet to Chart 2.

What I've tried so far is to add the spreadsheet study in Chart 2, in spreadsheet study settings go to change the Spreadsheet Name to the one of the saved spreadsheet I want to apply. What happens here is that there are none of my formulas and such in the normal formula columns for the "Sheet 2" of the spreadsheet, but back over at Sheet 1 the formulas are there... how can I fix this?

Thank you!

All the information on how the Spreadsheets and Sheets work is in the documentation. But we understand it can take time to understand the interaction with the Spreadsheet Studies.
