I am using the trade by alert system and while it works great, it would be even better to fine tune it to stop trading for the day after one of two max trades allowed were successful. Is this possible? For example, I have a max 1 trade on Sell and Buy entry. Say the Sell entry triggers and all my targets are met and position is closed, how can I prevent the second trade from taking place?

Have you looked at Global Settings >> Global Profit/Loss Management?

yes that would be one way, however, i have multiple targets and would rather not have to limit the reward potential if the first of 2 trades eliminates the need for the 2nd trade.

You could add the Trading: Total Trades study, and reference its output value in your entry formula.
The study counts closed trades, of any lot size.
