hi - I am debugging a DTC server.

I have two instances of SC clients connected to it (everything is local on one machine)

Client1
When I connect and go to "Find Symbol", the list is empty.
I get this message:

"The response for symbol settings did not contain enough data to be considered valid. Received 0 bytes. No data was written. | 2019-09-11 13:09:22.589 *

Client2
On a 2nd instance of SC, connecting to the same server, I see the symbols ok.

Any ideas ?

When using the DTC Service in Sierra Chart there will not be any symbols listed in File >> Find Symbol unless the server has sent security definitions as documented here:
Data and Trading Communications (DTC) Protocol Test Client: Populating Symbol List in Sierra Chart

But we have not tested that functionality recently.

Also that error message above does make sense because there are not going to be any symbols provided from the Sierra Chart server for the DTC Service.

Thanks for pointing that out, I rested.

Version 1875 works fine.
Version 1987 is not working.
