VXV intraday data

Hi.
I get historic daily data from VXV index from 2007, but intraday, I only get a few months back.
I use SC as data provider.
How can I get all intraday data for VXV? Should I just try with a different provider? Or is it a matter of the index itself?

Thanks.

Is this a stock symbol or index?

That is not the right symbol. Refer to the correct symbols here:

Use $VIX

Yeah, sorry, I meant three month index volatility $VXV.

Are those the only solutions to the short range of intraday data? Because changing those settings does not change anything.

Thanks.

For that symbol, the data goes back to 2010-04-28. Follow the instructions here to get data back to that point in time:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/HistoricalIntradayData.html#DownloadingViewingMoreHistoricalIntradayData

You need to follow the instructions. You will be able to get data back to that point in time. If not, you are not following the instructions.
