Current Sierra Chart Version

001. Create and Save a Study Selection
002. Create any Tool Shortcut like 'Line' ctrl+l

Tool Will Not Draw
1. Select a chart to apply the Study Selection
2. Press Alt+A and select the study selection
3. Select the Tool Shortcut and apply to the chart
The tool drawing will not apply to the chart
4. Select off the chart and back on the chart
The tool drawing will apply to the chart

This worked on version 1685.

Tool Will Draw
Instead of selecting Ctrl+A to select the study
1. Select from the main tool bar with the mouse, 'Analysis'
2. Select a Study Selection
3. Select the Tool Shortcut
The tool drawing will apply to the chart

This is simply an issue with the focus of the chart. You just need to click on the chart if it does not have the focus . This is not something we can do anything more to help with.

Also we cannot reproduce to the issue you are describing either. Once we select a drawing tool through a keyboard shortcut after selecting a study collection through the keyboard, we can use that tool on the active chart.

When I select Ctrl+A the chart remains in focus.

When I select the shortcut for the tool,
the shortcut letter is typed in the Chart Title Bar.

This doesn't appear correct.
Take a look at the chart image capture.

1. Ctrl+A was selected and I typed a shortcut (a)
2. The (a) was typed on the Title Bar after the Contract Data
3. The 'abcdefg' was typed as an example

Do you have any ideas?
