Latest sierra charts v1981 opens too much trades in backtest

Latest Sierra Charts opens dozens... (too much) automated trades. Opens trades into both directions; eg. instead of long it opens limits for buy and sell orders.. etc This happens in version 1981 In version 1978 it still worked good Happens in Replay Backtest and in Bar Based Backtest. |

Understand that it is your automated trading system doing this. So you need to determine why and if there is something not working correctly in the newer Sierra Chart versions which is then causing your automated trading system to be sending orders when it would not normally, we need to know what it is. Otherwise, it is impossible to for us to say why your automated trading system is doing that. Still having this issue, also in version 2011. It opens Tons of Trades faulty, with Maximum Position Allowed set to 1 You can test it by simply making an EMA cross-over strategy (Trading System Based on Alert Condition) as test and backtest it on Replay mode. I really need to get this solved, as it makes Sierra Chart completely useless for automated strategy trading. |
