When using this configuration as you suggest for lowest response times with trading only in one instance, and charts/analysis in another sub instance, can one get the order fills from the trading instance in the analysis instance for reviewing trades on the charts?

Yes. This fully happens automatically. There should not be any problems with this. Just make sure you are running a current version of Sierra Chart.

On v1983, don't see the simulated order fill/trades data in the sub instance in the Trade Activity Log or charts, with the same date settings on primary and sub instance.

Where is this simulated trading occurring? And actually simulated trading may not pass through to a sub instance from the main instance. We would have to check on that. It probably does not because it can really be excessive amount of information from back testing.

The Sim trading occured in the primary instance.

1. Can sim and live order fills from the primary not be viewed in the sub instance?

2. Can sim and live order fills from a sub be viewed in the primary?

1. Only the live trading fills.

2. Live trading for sure. Simulated only if using a simulated account and Trade Simulation Mode is disabled in the sub instance.

Any way to add support for sim trading testing between both sub and primary instances also?

2. Live trading for sure. Simulated only if using a simulated account and Trade Simulation Mode is disabled in the sub instance.

When trading with this set up, executing a trade opens up Trade Orders and Positions Window, also Trade Orders Window. What is the difference between each of these?

Can it be set to only use one of these two windows?

Also these open for each instance, how can one identify which instance they are from?

And can they be disabled in one instance?

It sounds like the installations of Sierra Chart you are running are not all up to date. Make sure they are all up-to-date:
Software Download: Fast Update

To the various Trading Information Windows we will add a number indicating which instance they are for.

Also disable this option and the one below it:
Global Trade Settings Windows: Open Trade Orders Window When Order is Completed (Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> Notifications)
