While perusing the formula (studies method), Is there a way to exclude crossings if the %K and %D cross while in overbought/oversold territory?
example: If the %K crosses the %D down while the market is oversold could result in an unintended alert

Yes this is certainly possible. If you look at formula example 1 it shows in general how something like this would be done:

If you need further help we can put together an example.

Hi,

you can download ACSIL study for free from our CZ/SK forum
(just Study in dll file, not code).

Study name: Stochastic Fast - cross
- Selection alerts by zone overbought/oversold/middle area/trend signal
- Eliminate zones from alerts or or just trading in them ... according to the user's choice
