I have a bid ask depth study with the settings shown in the screenshot.
In particular this is using the Fill Rectangle to Zero setting.

However, these settings will not stick when I save and close the chartbook and these revert back to the default bar and line settings.

I have tried using 1971 and 1973 but to no avail.

Can you help please

Thanks for posting this request Acro, I was just about to do the same.

I am having the same problem: Fill rectangle to zero subgraph draw types revert back to default when opening the chartbook in another instance, or even when changing the symbol of the chart.

Also found that the Summation study settings (Input Data) reverts back to default when opening the chartbook on a different machine.
All other study settings work correctly.

I experience this with 1971 and 1972.

Do you have the input setting for Automatically Set Draw Styles set to No?

If this is set to Yes, then it will change your settings when a recalculation is occurring, which is what this sounds like.

Thank you John, it was set to 'Yes'. Now it is working correctly.

Although the Summation Study still reverts back to 'Open' type instead of the input data type I set.

Can you please advise on this as well?

I have no idea why the Summation study is changing the Input Data Type. I have tried it across computers, but it is working fine for me, and I looked at the code, and there is no place that it changes that input. So it really should not be happening.

Are you opening the chartbook with that study already on it, and that Input changes? Or is this when you put the study on from a second computer?

If it is when you add the study on the second computer, then it is most likely that you saved a different set of defaults for that study.

Thanks John for checking this.

It is a chartbook that I created then saved and shared with others. When anybody opens it, it opens up with Input Data type set back to default (Open).
All other studies and settings in the chartbook remain intact - except this one.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Can you please attach the chartbook so I can try it myself.

Thank you John, I do not know why but it seems working now without any issue. I recreated the chartbook and now it keeps all the settings.
