I placed a limit buy order for 865.50 on ZS-2019 last night in simulated trading. My Trade Activity Log entry price for this trade shows that the trade was entered at $100 at 2019-08-09 13:20:01:2. That is a strange number to show. Why is it showing $100. Additionally, this symbol never trading down the 865.50 limit order strike point today. The low was 869.25. Why did this show an entry, why at "$100".

I am just doing some simulated trading prior to actually using the DOM live with my IB account. I have not gotten comfortable with it yet. There have been a few screwy things. Can you look at this one, and look overall at how I have things set up. Do I need to correct anything?

There are certainly going to be "screwy" things when using Interactive Brokers. There really is not anything in regards to set up which would be necessary to avoid any problems.

Select this particular line in the Trade Activity Log and select Edit >> Copy Selection and then paste it here so we can see this.

Here is the copy of the line you requested. It only makes sense to me that the live service will work more effectively than the simulated one. One reason I chose your platform to use is that you seem to have an extensive and good history with IB. Hopefully the "screwy" things will be minimal.

We do see the -100 Entry Price. That must have been the fill price reported by Interactive Brokers TWS. You will see that "Fill Price" with the order fill when you select Trade Activity from the top menu of the Trade Activity Log.

I guess that is what they reported. It's odd because that is not a valid price for ZS. It trades in the 869 range not down at 100. We can close this up and I will watch a little longer to see how the trades are posting. Thanks
