I had a wheat position that somehow stayed open after the close. I have my trade contract set to "flatten position and cancel orders" for just after noon mountain time. However, my position did not flatten and I got docked with my prop firm. Any ideas why this position didn't flatten? Now I can't trust that the positions wont automatically close unless I manually do it. No bueno

You can have absolute trust that anything automated is always going to work properly. There could be user error or other reasons. Perhaps it was triggered earlier in the same day and did not trigger again. Although in this case as long as you change the time to a more forward time it will then reset itself and trigger again in the same day.

And also check the Trade Activity Log to see if the order was actually submitted but perhaps rejected:

The other question is whether the chart or Trading DOM, the Trade Window you set this on was actually open and Sierra Chart was connected to the data feed.

And were you also using this functionality here?:

We made a correction to the above. :

The Trade Window itself did not have to be open but the chart definitely does.
