[User Discussion] - Hide last current candlestick bar

I value to take action only at the close of bars, not in-between, and hate to be disturbed from the noise of the real-time data, which is a distraction in my decision process. Just like the “line on open” graph draw type does not show the realtime close of the current bar, which is very practical to me, I’d like an equivalent for the candlestick bars. Such an adaptation could come from a new graph draw type that either/or : - totally hides the current/last candlestick that is forming in realtime - instead of hidding the current/last candlestick, displays it but the Open data only. All the historical candlesticks (current-1 and further) would obviously still be complete, showing OHLC data as normally Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-08-03 11:41:13

You could use the Color Bar Based On Alert Condition study with this formula on the Alerts tab: =C[1]=0 and set the color to the same as your chart background. |

No, and it can't be turned off. You can only change its color at Global Setting >> Graphic Settings >> Last Trade...This has been ask about previously: Hide Price Label? |

Additionally of the Y axis price tag, the problem with hiding the last bar only is that the applied studies still indicate calculations derived from realtime price information Conclusion, my initial request was not accurate. What I’m searching for is a candlesticks draw graph type that would stop at the N-1 bar for display, calculation of the studies, and value of the Y axis price tag Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-08-04 21:44:05

I figured out that the option to hide the last price tag on Y axis is already available > Graphics settings (screenshot)

When this option is available in the latest SC version...: Ignore Zero values in the Spreadsheet Formula study ...you can use the Spreadsheet Formula study, with a formula like this: =IF(C[1]=0,0,ID1.SG1) -You would need an instance of the Spreadsheet Formula study for every subgraph of every study. -You would set the Chart Region, Draw Style, and color to the same as each study's subgraph. -You would 'Hide' the study that you are referencing. |

This isn't working for me. I use the heiken ashi study and just want to hide the last/current candle color. I only want to see candle colors for closed candles.
