How to adjust space between candles

Current Version.
How to decrease side by side space between candles while maintaining desired body width? Default Chart Bar Spacing has no effect. I'm after spacing similar to chart on left in pic. Also, is there any way to save as default the price display format? Changing from .00001 to .0001 has driven me nuts for years.

There is not a way to do exactly what you want. Here is the relevant documentation for the control of the chart bar widths:

To set a specific Price Display Format that will be used when you create a new chart for a symbol, you would need to adjust the Symbol Settings and change the Price Display Format for that symbol. Refer to the documentation here about how to adjust symbol settings:

Please solve the issue with decreasing the space between bars with keeping the desired bar size
