If you are running a significantly older version of Sierra Chart you may receive the message "Downloads are not enabled" and historical Intraday data will not be downloaded.

To resolve this problem update Sierra Chart to the current version by selecting Help >> Download Current Version.

It generally is a good idea to update Sierra Chart from time to time. This problem is only affecting users who have not updated for more than 13 months. This would be from versions 917 and earlier and if Sierra Chart is using the Sierra Chart server protocol for Intraday data.

Newer versions of Sierra Chart have reduced CPU usage and many improvements . Therefore, it is a good idea to keep up-to-date.
