Lmax domain name resolution

I have been provided a trial by Lmax for live data. Trying to get this to work, I have had a long and tedious dialogue with Lmax tech staff and their resolution is to request an answer here.

Lmax provides 2 endpoints for live market data:
fix.lmaxtrader.com which resolves to 91.215.165.46 ("46")
fix.md-lmaxtrader.com which resolves to 91.215.165.56 ("56")

The second, 56, has no trading privileges, it just provides market data. This is the endpoint I have access to.
With my configuration, despite explicity specifying 56, Sierra Chart appears to force access to 46.
You can see this in the attached screenshot.
The request is rejected as my user is not authorised with trading privileges.

Can you explain how I can connect to 91.215.165.56?

We think we know how this can be solved. Did they assign you a trading account number for this trial? Even though you cannot trade with it.

No, they didn't give me an account number.
But if it helps, I'm happy to ask. I've discussed this enough with them to be invited to their children's birthday parties.

Well the easiest thing for us to do is just to assign your Sierra Chart account an invalid account number. We can give you access to the market data for 30 days.

We have added a dummy account. You can now set Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service to LMAXLiveTrading - DTC. You will be able to access the market data for 30 days.
