Scaling In Quantity Distribution for Multiple Target Bracket Orders

Hi Team,

I am reviewing the Scale In functionality in Sim/Replay.
I am using the "2TargetsWithCommonStop" order configuration.

It appears that as I scale into my position, the scaled in Target only updates the farthest target, rather than distributing evenly to the two targets (as the initial order does).

For example:
1st order = Buy Market @ $50.00 Qty=2, Stop $49.90 Qty=2, Target 1 $50.10 Qty=1, Target 2 $50.20 Qty=1
2nd order = Buy Market @ $50.00 Qty=2, Stop Qty=4, Target 1 Qty=1, Target 2 Qty=3
(I would have expected Target 1 and Target 2 to be updated with Qty=2 for each upon the 2nd order)

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

The only workaround I have found is to manually adjust the Target Limit order quantities using the +/- popup on the chart trading line... but this could be difficult under a fast market situation, etc.

Thankyou.

The Scale In option only supports Furthest or Nearest. Therefore it is not going to split the quantity between the targets, it is going to adjust the furthest or nearest based on your setting. Refer to the following documentation:
Global Trade Settings Windows: Scale In (Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> Scale In/Out)

Scaling into multiple targets with evenly distributed quantity would be very helpful for my style of trading and I used it one another DOM for a long time.

Can you plan this for a future release or is it simply not possible to be developed?

We would have no idea when we could get to this.

Just keep it in the backlog as it is pretty hard to scale in and out without thinking about execution. E.g. if I adjust the scales after I got in 2nd or 3rd clip and one of these targets is hit, the OCO Stop will get reduced with the wrong quantity.

And scaling is so important for risk mgmt that I'm sure a lot of users would benefit from an even scale to your targets.
