Sierra real time data...

Hi,

I'm using SC's and the Jigsaw platform currently while using Rithmic data for each. I would like better data that would allow me to see the breakdown of cumulative delta into different size lots. Rithmic's data apparently is not that good. Through Convergent Trading I've found out that Sierra Real Time data and DTN IQ are the feeds for this. I'm very interested in the Sierra Real Time. Because Sierra data doesn't work with Jigsaw, I'd have to use Rithmic for Jigsaw. I'm already paying an exchange fee through Rithmic and it appears I have to pay an add'l exchange fee for the Sierra data. Is this correct? The full CME Group exchange fee has an option of with or without Market Depth. To get the delta breakdown data I'd like, I obviously need Market Depth, correct? The CME w/ Market Depth nonpro trading account for $5.25 doesn't include CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX data at all, correct? So following the 2 week trial my total looks to be the $25 for 20 real time symbols for the data feed and the $15.75 for the CME w/ Market Depth exchange fee(assuming the $5.25 option is out)assuming I have to pay the second exchange fee. Am I missing anything here?

I realize some of these are probably silly questions but I'd like to know for sure in advance as to the specifics.

Thanks...

Market depth data is not required for what you call "Delta breakdown".

And we are also going to be releasing new packages which bundle CME data, effective July 1. So the cost of the data feed will be lower.

Hi,

I'm very interested in using the Sierra data for my charting and the "delta breakdown" starting this coming week, hopefully being able to set it all up on Sunday night here in the central time zone in the States. Sunday is the 30th however, not July 1st, and although after 5:00 PM is considered the new trading day (for ETH), it's not necessarily the new day for your billing. Would I be able to set up everything on Sunday night and get the $5 2 wk trial for the data or would I have to wait for Monday? Either way it's OK, just want to make sure I get this right.

Thanks...

Unless you want real-time data Sunday evening, you should be fine without activating the real-time data feed. And you can just use the historical data that is included with the Service Packages.

Otherwise, you really have to wait until July 1 before activating the real-time data feed to take advantage of the exchange trials and also the two week Sierra Chart Exchange data feed trial.

Hi,

I'm doing a run through now as to what to do to include the Sierra real time data early tomorrow morning (7/1) before the RTH session opens for the $5 two week trial for the data. The payment page wants me to pay for the next month for SC's which is $36 for my pkg but that's not due until 7/12. I'm not seeing the "Additional Services Balance: ____ USD - Add Credit" window as shown on the "Setup Instructions" page. It appears the CME Group data without depth for $3.25 is free for the first month so all I want to pay for is the $5 for the 2 week trial for the data feed. Through the "Exchange Data Feed Features" page it appears I can do everything needed there. Is that correct? Can I just pay the $5 under "Instructions" and "Add Credit" and that's it, or? Looking further it appears you need to pay a minimum of $15, even if only needing the $5? I'm just trying to get right the first time...

Thanks

Yes.

Yes the minimum amount of adding credit is 15 USD. Once you add the sufficient credit, then you can activate the 5 dollar trial.
