A XP OS user was workning on V 1460 up until today. Is Windows XP no longer supported even on much older versions of Sierra Charts? If anyone is still working on an XP machine please advise of the specific Version Number that may need to be installed so an old XP user can continue to work.

Thank You

There are versions they can use which support Windows XP. They can use version 1808 or an earlier version back to 1652.

Follow the instructions here:
Software Download: Software Rollback Procedure

However, they really really need to get off of Windows XP, because we are going to be releasing the new Transact websocket API connection and they don't want to use that old bridge.

When attempting to run the Sierra Chart Installer we were met with an error explaining that the software is not a valid 32 bit application. Does that mena that the Installer is 64 Bit? how do we make it compatable with a 32 bit XP Machine? if you have a different installer or a link that is neccessary Please advise.

Thank You

We apologize for not responding sooner. This is what we meant to post yesterday which was already prepared:

The installer is definitely 32-bit. You can clearly tell by looking at it running in the Windows task manager because it has *32 after the filename.

However, it might not be compatible on Windows XP thinking about it.

We need to think about a solution.

Update: we will provide a zip file in about 20 minutes to you with the relevant files.

Here is the zip file. You just need to extract the files into the Sierra Chart installation folder which normally will be:
C:\SierraChart\SierraChartTransactMA
