My data provider (CQG) has activated level 2 data for stocks on my account but It still find it as unknown. Please find the attached an screen shot of what is happening. Please help me how I can have it activated. Does Sierra work with stocks at all? Thank you.

Sierra Chart can work with any CQG symbol but most likely the symbols are not just the standard stock symbols. We have to ask them about this. “This would be an issue with Sierra, we do of course offer full level 2 CME data. The user is welcome to try CQG Desktop and we can troubleshoot any issues with that platform directly.” This is what CQG guys say but my DOM do not show level 2 data. I am requesting a remote connection to have this problem solved. Thank you.

That's a completely ridiculous answer from CQG. Either you did not communicate to them properly, or they are not paying attention to what you are saying. You are referring to stock data and their answer is regarding CME futures data. And then they are trying to sell you their CQG Desktop program. Anyway, we have contacted CQG about level 2 data for stocks and we will find out what they say . We first need to know what the symbols are first. This is the answer from CQG in regards to accessing stock data from third-party programs: We are only dispensing equity product quotes on CQG products at this time. There is a rigorous check that is required (per trader) in order to allow this internally and I don’t think were going to allow it on 3rd party applications. Now if you want to access real-time stock data in Sierra Chart, without level 2, we have that available with the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. And we see that you did activate that data feed on your Sierra Chart account but not any exchanges. You can activate the US Equities exchange to get the real-time data stock data. OMG, they sell data that they are sure will not work and send people to argue with Sierra. Just, please let me know the diffrence between paying for activation and paying for exchanges in sierra? Thank you so much for your time and help.
