If I execute trades through the SC/TT order routing service and I want to reconnect on a backup PC/notebook in case of an emergency, is there any delay before I can reconnect? I remember some years ago with SC/TTnet there was about one minute delay before I could reconnect to the same account on a backup notebook in case of PC crash/power or internet outage.
In the documentation it says that multiple simultaneous connections to the trading server are supported. My question is if I only need immediate access through my backup notebook in case of emergency, would I need to pay for a second Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed real time connection or is the first SC real time connection from my main PC immediately available without delay on my backup notebook if there are issues with the main trading PC and I click "connect to data feed" on the backup machine?

There is no delay. You will be able to connect immediately.

With the way that the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed currently works, there may be a problem accessing the data feed, not trading server, for up to about 40 seconds. But we expect this kind of limitation is not going to be an issue after about two months if you are just using CME data.

Although in this kind of scenario, regarding market data, we recommend that you would select File >> Disconnect within Sierra Chart on your main system.

However, as we said the trading connection will still be immediate.
