I want to have vertical lines automatically drawn to mark the opening and closing for markets - eg the EZ from 0300 EDT to 1130 EDT.
Maybe a new study is need?
Thanks

Use two instances of the Time Line study.

You could also use the Time Range Highlight study to set the background color for a time range.

thanks

This brings up an idea.
How about having SMART TimeLines, Time Range Highlight, High and Low for Time Period, and High Low for Time Period Extended preset for the
Open and Close of ALL the markets. US, Ez, JP, HK, SG, AU, NZ etc.

By smart I mean that the lines would automatically adjust for daylight savings time starting and ending and the two week EZ to US difference.

Would sure save a lot of time. LOL

Thanks

You could set each chart to the timezone of its symbol's exchange.

I have one major chart for trading the ES set to NY time.
I'd like to have the time lines indicate the Open and Close of most of the markets
thoughts appreciated

What you want to do would require a custom study.

Ithink it should be standard. Every trade faces the same problem when dealing with the Daylight Saving to Standard Time time changes.
