Like Sundownded and Eslavio, I have been using an older version to better use this feature. At this time, I am unable to update to the current version to correct some disconnect issues I have been having that I understand have been dealt with starting with ver 1906. You have a very complete and usable product, please seriously consider the changes suggested by HKC 01. Thanks

Thanks HKC01 for a nice write up & proposal prescribed the exact reason why I still stick w/ an old version predated 1870. With a talented team SC has put together, it would be a simple change if a proper structure has been in place.

Excellent suggestion by HKC01. I also have reverted back to older versions because of this issue. Thank you in advance to the SC team for supporting this, you are the best!

+1 for HKC01.
Brilliant suggestion.

SC, you have no idea how much time we individual traders waste with multiple implementations of the current study trying to get an accurate representation of a heatmap and that it's the one thing making us want to fire up Bookmap from time to time

But then lets also get this MDHG-study an option to scale automatically based on the highest liquidity in the loaded chart. This way you always get the brightest range3 color for max liquidity, no matter if max liquidity is 1100 contracts or 300. This is usefull for switching symbols. Otherwise you always have to adjust the study settings manually.

correct so the largest order on the book should determine the highest number for the % to be between , so this 1049 on the offer will be the darkest color on the map and the rest of the orders are colored in there percentages to this max order

+1 PLEASE. It's the only reason I still use and pay for bookmap. I have 5 MDH studies running at one time and seperate chart books for each underlying like CL and ES due to the different liquidity profiles and the manual values I need to implement.

yeah but there is also a problem: it only works if you have a general liquidity max value. Today i saw in ES over 2k contract normaly the max is around 900-1.1k. When you have these 2k loaded in the chart...1k would not get the range 3 color. might be something to consider. how does bookmap do this? they state that they use an algorithm for it.

EDIT: This is already taken care of with "Maximum Quantity For Coloring".
