Hello,

I was finally able to trade in the sim account on the afternoon of 4/22.

Today, 4/24, I had an issue with two separate trades - both hit the target price (1st - 3-4 times, 2nd - 11 times!) before the the order filled. What would be causing this to happen? When I beta tested TransAct in sim mode (which appears to be very similar to the Sierra Chart architecture), I did not have this problem.

Also, is there anything that can be done to the current Sierra Chart configuration to prevent this from happening in the future?

Thanks

You're witnessing the brilliant engineering of SierraChart.

Some trading platforms, in simulation, will fill you the moment the last traded price hits your order.

SC actually simulates how a live market would behave by using the order book and your estimated position in the queue.

In real life, price will often bounce off your order several times while you sit in anticipation with fingers crossed before finally catching a fill - get used to it :)
