Hey,
I was wondering if it is possible to lock copied chart drawings onto a chart, so that when I copy chart to a new chartbook the drawings will go with it.

Basically the idea I use is for individual markets I have multiple time frame charts set up in a chartbook. I then use the copychart drawings from chart# feature to allow all of my drawings on each individual time frame show up on a single chart.

I then copy that chart to my main trading chartbook which I use to trade multiple markets. The problem is once it is in the main chartbook all of the copied drawings are gone. Is there a way to transfer to a new chartbook and maintain all of the copied drawings?

Thanks

The entries for Copy Chart Drawings from Chart #s does not transfer with the chart when you Duplicate the Chart to a new Chartbook. You can, however, go into the Chart Settings for the new chart and enter in the chart details for the other Chartbook to get them to show up again. Refer to the section entitled Copying Chart Drawings from Other Chartbooks section in the following for how to enter the information to copy drawings from a chart in a different chartbook:
Chart Settings: Copy Chart Drawings from Chart #'s (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Drawings menu)
