SMS Alerts Not Working with New Phone Number

I had SMS alerts setup and they were working well. I got a new phone number and changed the "SMS Number" field in Global Settings > General Settings > Alerts/General 3 to the new number, but I don't receive any texts from Sierra Chart at the new number.

If I change the settings back to my old phone number, it starts working again (sends texts to my old phone).

In Alert Manager, the Alert Text field displays "Alert message successfully sent." and the Source field displays "Web service response" for either number I use (as if nothing is broken). There are no errors in the logs.

I've scoured the forum, found several related threads and tried all of the recommendations but it's still not working. Here are things that I've tried:
- Restarting SC (many times).
- Updating to latest version and restarting SC.
- Disabling and re-enabling "Enable/Disable SMS Alerts" in the SMS Control Panel (https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=SMS). I've done this several times both before and after installing the latest version, and before and after closing/restarting SC... hoping that it would fetch the enablement and fix the issue.
- Changing my phone number in the Account Control Panel (https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ManageAccountInfo) to the new number... thinking that perhaps there is a validation step verifying that the number belongs to the user before it actually sends an SMS.
- Changing the country-code prefix in "SMS Number" field in Global Settings > General Settings > Alerts/General 3. Both my old and new phone are U.S. numbers. My old number worked with the "+1" prefix, e.g. +13216540987, so I used the same prefix with my new number, e.g. +16543210987, but to no avail. I have also tried using "001" as the country code prefix. No bueno.
- Disabling the "Remember Password" option on the SC startup/login screen... I found a post mentioning it here: SMS alert notification not working

I'm not sure what to try next. Could you please help me troubleshoot the issue?

Let us know to which exact number you are not getting SMS alerts.

Note that the format, +12223334444, should work for the US.
