Hi staff, I am looking to do the exact same sierrachart advance packaging and live cme data feeds at my work desktop IP, how much extra would that cost? Also in regards to the data usage, if I am not recording the RTH sessions, and just using it as an simulation, would my company’s IT guys pick it up? I do not know how corporate IT security setups work, I would have thought alert would only appear when I use abnormal data usage, also if I am able to browse the sierrachart site, it means they have not added it to their blocklist right? Please expand my knowledge in terms of their IT Monitoring system, are they able to see what I am doing in real time? Or they can only see the Sierrachart app running? Jackson |

First, with regards to setting up a second copy of Sierra Chart, there is no additional fee for the use of the Sierra Chart software on two systems. You are authorized for two systems, so that is not a problem. With respect to the Data Feed, however, If you are not using the systems at the same time, then there is no additional charge. But this means that you have to have Sierra Chart disconnected from the Data Feed at the other location (or have the program closed). For example, if you keep the version at home always running and connected to the data feed in order to record the Market Depth, then this would require a second data feed which is $20 USD per month. You do not need a second Exchange fee, just the Data Feed itself. It is all dependent on your particular IT department. It is not possible for us to give you any information on what they may or may not see. That is something you will have to figure out. OK, So no additional fee for 2 systems even if they are different IP addresses and internet connections. Also how can I pay for the extra data feed of $20 if need be. |
