Must SC be installed on the C drive.

I currently have a 250GB SSD as my C drive. I am looking at expanding my intraday data significantly and I am concerned that I will exceed my drives capacity. I am considering adding a 2 or 4TB drive so I can store the text file data after I import it.

I would like to be able to run my trading from the same drive if possible.

I presume I will need to run a new instance of SC to deal with all the historical data. Some of the data feeds I have been looking at have additional fields. Is there a problem with adding them to my database as long as they are after the primary fields?

In tab separated file is a blank tab a problem or just don't provide a header for it?

You can install Sierra Chart wherever you want. One thing for sure though is make sure this additional drive is a solid-state drive. Do not use a hard drive.

We are not understanding what you are referring to here. None of this is making reference to Sierra Chart.

I wasn't clear. I am referring to importing 3rd party tick data which has additional information fields that are not on your standard field list in the importing documentation.

When importing data, these additional fields would not be read. The supported formats are here:

Last question. How many years of ES tick data can I load into SC to do back testing on potential trade entries and exits? I assume there is some limitation.
