Hi, Is there an easy guide for updating from 32-bit to 64-bit SC? A few questions: Is a full uninstall (of 32-bit) and re-install (of 64-bit) necessary? If so, is it necessary to move data to a backup directory prior to uninstall? What other items must be changed? The website states ACSIL dll's must be renamed. Must they also be recompiled? Thank you, Jabberwocky |

There's nothing special to do. The 64-bit version is already installed and you can run it using the 64-bit shortcut on your desktop. In regards to custom studies, if you are using those, refer to: How to Use an Advanced Custom Study or a Study Collection: Custom Study Not Listed or Not Displaying on Chart You do not need to rename any DLLs. You just need to make sure you have the 64-bit version of any custom studies you are using. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
