I have a Chartbook with 5 charts open. I have one spreadsheet study open. Each of the 5 charts has the spreadsheet study added to it.

I added a sheet to the spreadsheet. I have calculations on the sheet that reference the other sheets (i.e. the ones associated with each chart). Everything was working great.

It became desirable for me to change the organization of the new sheet so that the information I needed from it was in one place and easier to see. To do this, I cut and pasted some cells, and I deleted a couple of rows and columns that were not being used.

All of a sudden, a number of the formula results stopped displaying. I changed the "Number Format" back to Default and the Cell Properties back to Automatic for Text and Background. I still can't see the formula results. The formulas are still in the cells. Even if I go in to the cell and edit them, it takes the edits, but no answer is displayed.

Attach that spreadsheet following the instructions here:

And tell us one of the Sheets and cell that you do not see the formula result in. Just one only.

It appears my problem is at least partially related to Global Settings/Spreadsheet Settings: Reference Modification defaults to "do not update". If I change it to update, I'm getting better results; I'm not sure if the problem is fully resolved yet.

Is there a reason in Sierra Chart why the option not to update references exists? It seems a little counterintuitive relative to my experience with Excel, but maybe I am missing something?

Thanks

Sometimes there is a reason just to disable this. It depends upon what a user is intending to do.
