Multiple Simulation Accounts

Regarding the documentation here:
Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Trade Account (Selecting Trade Account for Chart / Trade DOM)

It states that multiple different sim accounts can be used for backtesting and trading. This does not appear to be true.

1. No matter what sim account is selected in the DOM, the prompt always says SIM1 and the backtest is always done in SIM1. (see screenshot #1)

2. When doing a replay, the orders and PnL do not show up in the DOM if the account drop down menu is set to anything other than Sim1 (see #3).

3. The additional sim accounts do not appear in the drop down menu in the Trade Analyzer. (see screenshot #2) The results only appear in Sim1 in the trade analyzer. So even when I am manually executing with Sim2 or Sim3 selected in the DOM, I cannot view any of the results.

I have tested this on all four of my instances that I use with the same results.

4. To my knowledge, there is no place to change which order fills and connecting lines are displayed on the chart (Ctrl-Shift-O). For example, even if I COULD get a back test to run in Sim2 or Sim3, if I am executing the strategy while sim trading the live market in Sim1 it will only display my entry/exit activity from Sim1, and not display the back test order fills from Sim2 or Sim3. How do I do this?

I just updated to the latest release of SC last week so I am current. Closing and reopening the instance and a full restart of SC does not address any of these problems.

Please advise.

The problem you are experiencing is what is documented here:
Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Trade Window Settings Not Applying to Chart or Trading DOM (Trade Window Settings Not Applying to Chart or Trading DOM)

You can actually tell because on the top of the trade window you see the chart number(#). It does not match the chart. It is for a different chart.

This is not correct, that is a Trading DOM for Chart not a Trade Window.

The instance numbers of the Trading DOM for Chart do not have to match that of the chart, since they are technically separate instances themselves. Each new Trading DOM I open for the same chart increases one number incrementally...

And therein lies the problem. I was changing the settings on the Trading DOM for Chart, and not on the actual Trade Window itself. A clarification in the documentation might be beneficial for the future since the two look identical.

Which also answered another question which is: why doesn't the auto trading system fire any attached orders even though the box was checked? Because it was checked on the Trading DOM and not checked on the Trade Window... makes sense now. Also makes sense why it always fired a 1 lot even though I had multiple contracts selected on the Trading DOM.

Now that I have changed the settings in the Trade Window is is functioning as expected.

Thanks for your time, on a weekend no less. Much appreciated.
